It is presented in a unique style, which is simple to read, yet deep enough to hopefully have you reflecting on your own journey in life. Through a collection of poems, the author encourages you to look, listen, and learn about life, your life, the life around you, life as it is.
This volume covers a nine year period and also includes four poems previously published in other books which have been found to be popular by various readers and Internet searches. It includes the period of time when Gary was living overseas in the United Arab Emirates. (very limited number available).

- This volume covers a period of just over one year, including Gary's return from living overseas and adjusting back into his old life. If anything, it was start of Gary discovering his passion for writing and a time when he could explore that passion. (very limited number available).

- This volume, only covers a period of six months. The reason for the continual reduction in time frame, is a change of approach to writing. In June 2005, Gary returned to the United Arab Emirates for a holiday. In a trip of 14 days, he wrote 50 poems.
On returning back to Australia, Gary decided to challenge himself to write at least one poem every day starting on 1 July 2005. With a couple of exceptions, he did write at least one poem every day, for over 1000 days. (very limited number available).

- In this volume, the time period is only three months. It is during this time, that Gary was writing at least one poem every day.
In this volume, we traverse the Christmas - New Year period and there are a couple of poems relating to this festive season. There are two consecutive poems talking about jigsaw puzzles. Of interest, at the time of creating this book, Gary wondered if they both should be included. As you can see, they passed that test.

In this book, we cover topics from a brief glance to issues of intimidation, shouting and understanding fear. There are also poems on coffee, listening and appreciating music, even a bit of humour to pass the day. There is a poem celebrating Mothers Day, one of several written over the years. - In this volume, Gary continues to cover a variety of topics. The changes from one poem to the next can be quite diverse. Examples include appreciating various aspects of our environment to dealing with issues of crying, remembering the fallen, to silly things, like burning breakfast. In this volume, we again cover the Christmas - New Year period. In this case, there are several poems relating to this festive period. In some ways, it is a bit of a challenge to write something different each year. Was Gary up to the challenge? He believes so. Do you believe it? Only one way to find out.
Also in this volume, you will find poems on dancing, hearing aids, self-confidence, being recognised by others, languages, preparing for an operation, saying thank you, and a couple of surprises along the way. (very limited number available).

Amongst the poems found in this volume, there are two poems written about mosquitoes, yes mosquitoes. There are also two poems about the first Earth Hour in 2007. There are poems about magpies, the clover leaf, and an egg.
There is yet another poem about chaos, as well as poems on blowing Raspberries, hugging, a candlestick holder, even a teaspoon. Yes, the variety of poems is diverse. (very limited number available).

A quick look at the contents of this volume reveals a possible deeper reflection period of Gary's daily poem ritual, and a few surprises along the way. Many of the poems found here, end with a challenge, a question, or an idea for you to consider. That is probably the case, with every poem that Gary has written. (very limited number available).

- This volume was created from poems written during a period when Gary was writing at least one poem every day.
In this volume, we again encounter the Christmas - New Year period and there are some poems related to this festive season. There is a poem celebrating Australia Day. There are three poems talking about unofficial clubs, and even one talking about the knowledge of my former work colleagues. Like all of the books before this one, it is believed that there is something for everyone.
There are two exceptions in this book. At a late stage, one poem was replaced and another one was added. Both of these poems were written outside the period indicated. (very limited number available).

- This volume, is the last in this collection, that have been created, from poems written during a period, when Gary was writing at least one poem every day.
Early in this volume, there are three consecutive poems that are all connected. They discuss subjects that may be overlooked in our day-to-day lives.

In 15 years, Gary wrote 2742 poems, more than 580,000 words. What you will find in this collection is a large number of Gary's works. A journey in the life of one.
