The beauty
of the written word
is that it can last
forever.
It can also
disappear
in a puff
of smoke.
Writing
is
only one form
of expression.
It can be
shared with others
or kept to yourself.
It can be
revealing,
insightful,
revolutionary,
even controversial.
It can stir
the passion
of others
from one extreme
to another.
From
tender thoughts
that melt your heart
to words of rage
that boil your emotions.
Words of rage
are expressions
of frustration.
A perception
of hopelessness
that does not exist.
To incite
violence
is to give up
on life.
Resorting
to words
of hate,
is quitting
on what is possible.
Anyone,
anywhere,
has the opportunity
to expand
and grow.
Life is
about choice,
your choices.
Are you going
to allow
another
to dictate
what you do.
Your words
define
who you are.
Choose them
carefully,
choose them
purposely.
The written word
is
a powerful medium.
It can span
the globe,
and reach
across the universe.
It is onerous
on you,
on me,
on everyone,
to be responsible
with our written words.
What you write,
is your choice,
make it worthwhile,
make it inspiring,
make it count.
