Yesterday,
all over our world
people came together
to meditate.
In synchronicity
of time,
in synchronicity
of intention,
they gathered.
It did not matter
if they were one,
or one thousand,
their efforts
were appreciated.
At an auspicious moment
in the calendar
of life,
the throng
committed
to meditating
and sending
healing energy
to our Mother Earth.
For too long
we had neglected her,
for too long
we had taken her
for granted.
On that day,
at that hour,
scores of people
gave thanks
and the gift
of their love
to our Mother Earth.
From the womb
of her core
to the edges
of her atmosphere
we sent waves
of love and healing
to her.
What started out
as
a simple gathering
will ignite
an ongoing appreciation
of what we have,
and where we live.
While
the people
may have come
as individuals,
they leave
as a family.
A family
committed
to helping
our Mother Earth.
A family
committed
to spreading love
to all parts
of our planet.
When humans unite
in the spirit
of love,
anything
is possible.
We can heal
our world,
all we need to do
is act.
